About the position

This position involves providing field service support for MRI systems in clinical settings across North America. The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in troubleshooting and maintaining MRI equipment. The successful candidate will work primarily from a home office, with significant travel requirements to various clinical sites for installations, training, and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting systems at clinical sites throughout North America.
• System troubleshooting and diagnosis of the source of failures.
• Preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Failure, maintenance and service reporting.
• Train site personnel on operator's periodical system testing.
• Perform system installations at new sites in North America.

Requirements

• 3-10 years' experience in MRI field service.
• Multidisciplinary capital equipment service knowledge.
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering is a MUST.
• Proven ability to solve hardware and software problems in multivariable situations.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Good mechanical capabilities and a hands-on character.
• Organized, structured, and capable of working independently.
• Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
