Responsibilities

• Reviewing completed MRI authorizations to schedule exams.
• Managing incoming calls to the department.
• Navigating provider schedules to schedule MRI follow-up appointments.
• Utilizing phones frequently for communication.
• Documenting in the department database to track authorizations and scheduled appointments.
• Operating computer applications to meet job expectations.
• Escorting patients to and from the mobile MRI trailer.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of MRI services preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of MRI services and clearance questions prior to scheduling the exam.
