About the position
As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, preparing patients for imaging procedures, positioning them correctly, and providing clear instructions. This role requires excellent communication skills and a calm bedside manner, as you will be interacting with patients throughout the imaging process. The position is designed for travel healthcare professionals who are adaptable and eager to explore new locations while providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and position them for imaging.
- Provide instructions to patients during the imaging process.
- Adapt quickly to new environments and facilities as a traveling healthcare professional.
- Deliver patient care and support in various healthcare settings.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of recent experience in MRI technology.
- Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states.
- Additional requirements and certifications as requested by the specific facility/unit.
