About the position

As an MRI Technologist with Cross Country Allied, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare system by taking medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes using advanced magnetic resonance imaging technology. This travel position is based in San Angelo, Texas, and is designed for professionals who are eager to explore new locations while providing essential medical services. You will be responsible for preparing patients for MRI scans, operating MRI machines, processing the images for review by radiologists and physicians, and managing patient records. Your expertise will also extend to using other radiologic equipment, such as CT and X-ray machines, as needed in various healthcare settings including hospitals, outpatient centers, private practices, and imaging centers. In this role, you will work 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, over a duration of 13 weeks. The position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures. You will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI technologist.
  • ARRT Certification is required.
  • BLS Certification (AHA) is mandatory.
  • Current state license (if applicable) is necessary.
