About the position

The MRI Technologist position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a healthcare facility. The role requires a skilled technician who can work independently, provide excellent customer service, and communicate effectively with patients and team members. The position is for a 13-week assignment with specific shifts and requires familiarity with GE MRI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients as per physician's orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment, including 1.5T GE Signa Artist and 3.0T GE Signa Architect.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide quality patient care.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff as needed.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• ARRT (MR) certification.
• BLS certification.
• TMB certification.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• IV skills.
• Experience with iradimed pumps and monitors.
