About the position

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a position in Augusta, Georgia. This role is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in MRI technology. The position is set to start on August 19, 2024, and will last for a duration of 15 weeks, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The work schedule consists of 8-hour shifts during the evenings, specifically from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI scans and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during the imaging process. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services. Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans on patients as per physician orders.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during the imaging process.
  • Maintain and operate MRI equipment according to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to provide accurate imaging results.
  • Document patient information and imaging results in the medical record system.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Valid MRI Technologist certification and state licensure.
  • Experience in MRI technology and imaging procedures.
  • Ability to work evening shifts and adapt to varying schedules.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in radiology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a travel healthcare role.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Additional certifications in radiology or related fields.
