About the position

The Associate Account Manager, ATA Carnet at Munich Re Specialty Group North America (MRSG N.A.) is responsible for managing the issuance, review, and cancellation of Carnets while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves utilizing proprietary software, underwriting bonds, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The position is hybrid, based in Schaumburg, IL, and reports to the Product Manager, ATA Carnet.

Responsibilities

• Issue, review and cancel Carnets according to policies and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service including correspondence, communication and meeting with clients
• Assist customer inquiries in a timely manner, including monitoring the department email box
• Understand proprietary software, Carnet Resolution, Carnet document use, benefits and obligations
• Underwrite bonds utilizing underwriting authority sensibly
• Support and comply with company guidelines, workflows and company policy and procedure

Requirements

• Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience
• IL P&C Producer License preferred but not required; P&C license is required within 3 months of commencement of employment
• Ability to provide a quality level of customer service and have phone skills needed to explain product in a prompt, friendly and accurate manner
• Initiative in troubleshooting customer problems and ability to provide solutions that satisfy the customer
• Experience in customary office applications (e.g., Word, Excel) and strong aptitude for learning proprietary software
• Strong organizational skills and ability to apply them procedurally; ability to complete assignments in a timely, organized and accurate manner
