About the position

The Editor position at Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) involves providing critical support to the Army's Directorate of Prevention, Resilience and Readiness (DPRR) by ensuring that all training and education materials adhere to English and Army writing standards. The role is essential for the development and publication of resilience and performance enhancement training materials for military personnel, DA civilians, and their families.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with personnel during the curriculum development process to ensure compliance with English writing and Army standards.
• Ensure written material clearly communicates ideas to target audiences and aligns with applicable orders, directives, guidance, and source documents.
• Verify that content does not violate copyright law and that document properties support electronic publication.
• Provide expertise in print and digital publication of training and education material.
• Support the production of briefs, articles, information products, and materials communicated to Army and external stakeholders.
• Perform other responsibilities as required and support contract work performance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in journalism, communications, English, or a related field.
• At least five years' experience editing learning material.
• At least five years' experience working with the military as a military member, civilian, or contractor.
• Expert verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
• Organized and experienced multi-tasker.
