About the position

The MS Instructional Designer/Trainer will be responsible for teaching Copilot 365 and other generative AI tools to Fund staff. This role involves developing training materials and lesson plans, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the effective adoption of these tools, and adapting to daily changes from Microsoft regarding their new Copilot product. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in instructional design and training on Microsoft products, particularly in a technical context.

Responsibilities

• Teach Copilot 365 and other generative AI tools to Fund staff.
• Develop training materials and lesson plans for various training sessions.
• Collaborate with champions and representatives from different groups to ensure widespread adoption of Copilot 365.
• Adapt training content to accommodate daily changes from Microsoft regarding their new Copilot product.
• Design instructional materials at all levels for effective learning outcomes.
• Manage and set up workshops for training on Microsoft products.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in instructional design and training.
• Strong experience using and teaching the Microsoft 365 suite and related Microsoft technologies.
• Prior experience in training on technical topics.
• Experience planning and organizing training delivery in a learning management system like Workday Learning or similar.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Online is a plus.
• Experience with generative AI and large language models (LLMs) is a plus.

• Experience with persona-based training approaches.
• Polished presentation and communication skills.
