About the position

The Microsoft Instructional Designer/Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training on Copilot 365 and generative AI technologies. This role involves creating comprehensive training materials, lesson plans, and conducting engaging training sessions to ensure effective knowledge transfer among staff. The position requires collaboration with various groups to promote the adoption of these tools within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive training materials, including presentations, documentation, and hands-on exercises.
• Create lesson plans that cover both foundational concepts and advanced topics related to Copilot 365 and generative AI.
• Tailor content to address the specific needs and skill levels of different personas within the organization.
• Contribute to the development and management of a website to support the training initiatives.
• Conduct engaging training sessions for professionals, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and preferences.
• Provide clear explanations, practical examples, and real-world use cases.
• Evaluate learners' progress through quizzes, assignments, and practical exercises.
• Provide constructive feedback to help learners improve their understanding and skills.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust training as needed.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and generative models.
• Continuously update training materials to reflect industry advancements.

Requirements

• Strong previous experience using and teaching the Microsoft 365 suite and related Microsoft technologies.
• Prior experience in instructional design.
• Prior experience in training on technical topics.
• Experience planning and organizing training delivery in a learning management system like Workday Learning or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt content for different audiences and skill levels.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with SharePoint Online would be a PLUS.
• Experience with GenAI and LLMs would be a PLUS.
