About the position

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with divisional administration and colleagues to drive continuous quality improvement (QI) and quality assurance (QA) initiatives across our healthcare system. Your expertise in performance improvement tools and techniques will be essential in supporting and facilitating changes that lead to enhanced patient care and operational efficiency. In this position, you will work closely with the Quality Manager to implement strategies that promote quality improvement. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering reports, presentations, and visual materials that communicate the progress and outcomes of quality initiatives. Additionally, you will assist in teaching and conducting inspections to ensure regulatory readiness in all practice locations, thereby maintaining the high standards of care that TMH is known for. Your role will also involve engaging with various stakeholders to foster a culture of quality and safety within the organization. By leveraging your skills and knowledge, you will contribute to the overall mission of TMH to provide advanced care to our community and ensure that our practices meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with divisional administration and colleagues to drive continuous quality improvement (QI) and quality assurance (QA).
  • Provide skills, knowledge, and expertise in performance improvement tools and techniques.
  • Support and facilitate changes that lead to improvement in quality of care.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and visual materials related to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with teaching and inspections to ensure regulatory readiness in all practice locations.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • High school diploma and successful completion of a practical nursing education program.
  • Preferred: Five (5) years of relevant job-related experience.
  • Preferred: Licensed as a registered nurse (RN).
  • Minimum: Licensed as a practical nurse (LPN).
