This position is critical for managing and maintaining our SQL Server databases, ensuring their performance, availability, and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration and a proven track record of supporting production environments. As a Senior DBA, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining database servers and processes, monitoring system health and performance, and providing 24x7 support for critical production systems. You will also be expected to analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing suggestions for solutions and refining and automating regular processes. Your role will involve assisting developers with query tuning and schema refinement, as well as performing scheduled maintenance and supporting release deployment activities after hours.
