About the position

We are looking for a seasoned SQL Server Engineer with extensive experience in SQL Server and PowerShell scripting. The role requires a deep understanding of database engine workings, Always On architecture, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with Agile practices and tools like Jira is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases with a focus on Always On architecture.
• Implement and manage Windows Clustering for high availability.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell scripting.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective database management and performance optimization.
• Utilize RESTful APIs for database interactions and integrations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a SQL Server Engineer.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL Server Always On and Windows Clustering.
• Strong PowerShell and automation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Database and programming background with MSSQL and other database products.
• Knowledge of Hyper-V/virtualization products.
• Experience with REST API interfaces.
