About the position

Geisinger's Radiology team is expanding, seeking a skilled MSK Radiologist to join a dedicated group of 11 specialists. This role involves performing procedural work in an academic setting, engaging in training radiology residents, and collaborating with various medical specialties. The position offers a mix of 80% MSK and 20% Emergency Radiology, with opportunities for teaching and research. Responsibilities

• Perform MSK radiology procedures and interpretations.
• Engage in teaching radiology residents and medical students.
• Collaborate with Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Oncology, Sports Medicine, and Rheumatology teams.
• Participate in research opportunities as desired.
• Work 10 weekends per year with a recovery day off during the week.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required).
• Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Professional etiquette and systems-based practice skills.
• Strong patient care and procedural skills.
