About The Position

The Seasonal Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) position at Corona Regional Medical Center is a temporary role focused on providing nursing care for adult and geriatric patients during the night shift. This position is part of the MST Department and is available from November 1, 2024, through March 29, 2025. The role involves assessments, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation of patient care, along with counseling and education for patients and families. The RN will report to the Director of Medical/Oncology/Surgical and/or designated supervisors and charge nurses, ensuring optimal nursing practice and outcomes.

Requirements

• Current California R.N. license.
• BLS (CPR) certificate required through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of adult and geriatric patients.
• Document patient care and maintain nursing standards.
• Provide counseling and education for patients and families.
• Supervise all categories of nursing personnel.
• Ensure optimal outcomes in nursing care.
