The Data Entry Clerk position at O.K. Foods, Inc. involves maintaining updated information regarding inventory and performing various data entry tasks related to received and shipped products. Responsibilities

• Update receivers, transfers, and physical inventories.
• Perform data entry of received and shipped products.
• Prepare export documents, weekly closes, damage rework, and adjustment verification.
• Perform research and problem solving of issues reported regarding inventory and system operations.
• Proofread and prepare information for reports requested regarding activities at Distribution.
• Sign out drivers.
• Cross train to fill in for load coordinator on short-term basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Knowledge of e-mail software and spreadsheet software.
