About the position

The MuleSoft Admin role at IBC involves managing and administering the MuleSoft AnyPoint platform, ensuring robust integration solutions across various deployment models. The position requires extensive experience in MuleSoft administration, deployment, and integration with a focus on security management and API gateway interactions. The role is hybrid, requiring presence in Downtown Philadelphia three days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, integrate, and administer the MuleSoft AnyPoint platform on Cloud, Hybrid, RFTP, and Flex gateway.
  • Utilize AnyPoint point exchange as a central repository for the discovery and reuse of assets and flow designer to build integration applications.
  • Provide end-to-end architecture, analysis, build, and testing for MuleSoft integrations, ensuring robustness and scalability.
  • Document design decisions and integrations resulting from new designs, system changes, or upgrades, ensuring clarity and maintainability of documentation.
  • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in REST web service RAML, Swagger, open API development, and SOA APIs, ensuring adherence to MuleSoft best practices.
  • Design comprehensive architectural concepts for integration implementations, encompassing patterns, encryption, security, logging, throttling, scalability, and clustering.
  • Lead the design, prototyping, and delivery of APIs, integrations, and applications across various deployment models, catering to client needs for cost-efficiency and agility.
  • Leverage strong MuleSoft CloudHub experience and broader understanding of other technology platforms to effectively integrate solutions across diverse environments.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and capacity planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent major.
  • 7-10 years of experience in MuleSoft administration.
  • 4+ years of experience in Linux/Unix with scripting.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Good knowledge of Ansible Tower and pipeline.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong knowledge of Linux & Windows OS.
  • Experience with high availability, fault tolerance, performance testing, and tuning parameters on multiple engagements.
  • Experience with Jenkins scripts for deployment automation and security implementations (e.g., SSL/mutual SSL, SAML, oAuth).
