As a Mulesoft Application Developer at Blue Shield of California, you will play a crucial role in the backend integration of the Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) system. Your primary responsibility will be to design and build integrations using MuleSoft AnyPoint Studio, ensuring that you understand business requirements and collaborate effectively with Business and Technology leaders, Enterprise Architects, and End Users to develop proposed solutions. This position requires extensive experience with MuleSoft integration and configuration, particularly in a government environment, making you a key player in establishing the MuleSoft environment throughout the enterprise. In this role, you will adopt and apply software engineering concepts and processes to software development. You will provide input to designs and technical specifications, develop user interfaces and application programs based on the provided technical specifications and design documents, and test, debug, and maintain code accordingly. Additionally, you will assist in creating, refining, and maintaining user stories and associated deliverables such as process flows and test cases to meet development and stakeholder needs. Active participation in agile ceremonies, such as daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos, will be essential to your success. Your work will also involve improving the reliability and utilization of systems and applications, monitoring software configuration changes, and coordinating sustaining support for application platforms and business processes. You will demonstrate leadership skills in service development, adoption, and governance, proactively addressing potential system issues to meet or exceed established timelines while delivering services within budget constraints. Your technical expertise will be vital in establishing trusted relationships with business partners, internal IT organizations, and vendor partners, effectively communicating the approach, value, risk, alternatives, and status of goal progress with executive and senior management, business sponsors, and product managers.
