About the position

The Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team is seeking an experienced ALIS/MPE Administrator to support the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) operations. This role involves maintaining the integrity of data within the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and Mission Planning Environment (MPE), ensuring system functionality, and serving as a point of contact during flight and evaluation activities. The position requires cross-training across multiple functions and is based in Burlington, Vermont, supporting the Vermont Air National Guard.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership
• Maintain system/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring
• Ensure smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier2, and engineers
• Perform laptop re-imaging, troubleshooting, and account maintenance
• Regularly monitor systems/applications for availability and performance
• Train ALIS Administrators or Mission Planning Environment Administrators and users on the ALIS system as needed
• Perform COMSEC CRO duties and adhere to requirements; train others in COMSEC
• Support pilots in Mission Planning/Debriefing and identify/resolve system shortfalls

Requirements

• Must have a Secret security clearance or higher with investigation within the last 6 years
• Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within 60 days of hire
• IT experience in system/database/network/mission planning administration
• Knowledge of Windows, SQL, Linux, and Cisco products

Nice-to-haves

• Experience troubleshooting applications
• Familiarity with JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server
• Account maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM
• Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and network equipment
• Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)
• Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components
• Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administrator
• Installing Oracle Critical Patches, reviewing tables and DBA views for issues, and locating user session data
• Importing/Exporting large data volumes
• Managing large Oracle and SQLServer databases
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including the JSF ALIS hardware and software
• COMSEC experience
• Experience working for or supporting the US military/Foreign Military
• A US DoD Top Secret Clearance
• Military Flight Operations & Planning Processes
• Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) installation and data updates
• Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS) experience
• Mission Planning Systems Support Representatives (SSR) experience
• Personal Computer Debrief Software (PCDS) experience
