About the position

The MPE (SME) Liaison position at Lockheed Martin involves supporting the Autonomic Logistics Information Systems (ALIS) and Mission Planning Environment (MPE) for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) operations. The role requires maintaining the integrity of data within the system, ensuring smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, and serving as a point of contact during customer discussions. The successful candidate will work closely with military personnel and must obtain a Special Access Program clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership.
• Maintain system/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring.
• Ensure smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier 2, and engineers.
• Perform laptop re-imaging, troubleshooting, and account maintenance.
• Regularly monitor systems/applications for availability and performance.
• Perform COMSEC CRO duties and adhere to requirements; train others in COMSEC.
• Support pilots in Mission Planning/Debriefing and identify/resolve system shortfalls.

Requirements

• Must have a Secret security clearance or higher with investigation within the last 6 years.
• Completed DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).
• Extensive current or previous IT experience in F-35 Mission Planning Environment.
• Knowledge of Windows, SQL, Linux, and Cisco products.

• Experience Troubleshooting Applications JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server.
• Familiarity with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM for account maintenance.
• Disaster recovery experience: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and network equipment.
• Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware) experience.
• Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components.
• Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administrator experience.
• Installing Oracle Critical Patches and reviewing tables and DBA views for issues.
