About The Position

The Multi-family Project Manager will oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves managing subcontractors, developing schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with owners. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, particularly in multifamily projects, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• 2+ years of multifamily construction experience.
• Strong understanding of construction processes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to direct complex projects from concept to operational status.
• Experience with tilt construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to create material take-offs and read blueprints.
• Strong marketing and presentation skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented problem solver.
• College degree in a construction/engineering field preferred, but not required.

• Knowledge of the South Florida construction market.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting documents and contracts.
• Managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Writing and negotiating subcontracts.
• Reviewing and preparing subcontractors' scope of work.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Attending meetings and preparing minutes.
• Assisting in the estimating process.
• Reviewing and preparing change orders.
• Developing and tracking submittals, RFIs, and cost reports.
• Maintaining positive owner relations.
