About the position
The Multi-Family Construction Superintendent will oversee insurance repair and rehabilitation projects for multi-family clients in Texas, primarily focusing on Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive experience in multi-family construction, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The position emphasizes safety, effective planning, and collaboration with subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage multifamily projects and on-site teams
- Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest quality standards
- Lead all estimating for projects in Texas
- Lead daily field operations, emphasizing safety and progress
- Coordinate all site activities and collaborate with subcontractors
- Maintain meticulous project records and foster team relationships
- Keep projects on schedule through effective planning
- Regularly walk the job, perform site inspections and oversee tasks
Requirements
- 5+ years of Project Superintendent experience
- 5+ years of Multi-Family Project Experience
- Advanced knowledge of local, state, and federal code requirements
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control
- Understanding of Time and Materials billing
- Ability to write comprehensive Xactimate estimates on all types of losses
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
