About the position

The Multi Functional Manufacturing Planner Manager at Lockheed Martin is responsible for overseeing the Production Planning and Control function for the Missiles and Fire Control division in Dallas. This role involves managing a diverse team, including both direct and indirect reports, and ensuring the effective execution of production planning processes across multiple facilities. The position requires strategic thinking, budget management, and the ability to resolve complex operational issues while maintaining critical schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Production Planning and Control function for Missiles and Fire Control - Dallas.
• Oversee staffing and management of direct and indirect reports, including leaders and hourly employees.
• Lead the team in meeting critical schedules and resolving complex operational issues.
• Develop and manage budgets for the production planning function.
• Monitor and report on executive operations metrics.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting MMAS (Material Management and Accounting System).
• Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets.
• Strategic thinker with knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience in assigning and managing projects to meet operational goals.

• Greenbelt certification or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
