WBRZ seeks dynamic storytellers to join our team as a Multi-Media Journalist (MMJ). The hired individual will also fill in as an anchor on some newscasts, contributing to the station's reputation for investigative journalism. This role is ideal for those looking to advance their careers in a fast-paced newsroom environment that offers coaching for larger market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Report and produce news stories for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Conduct interviews and gather information from various sources.
• Fill in as an anchor on newscasts as needed.
• Collaborate with the news team to develop story ideas and coverage plans.
• Ensure accuracy and fairness in reporting.
• Adhere to journalistic ethics and standards.

Requirements

• Experience in journalism, particularly in reporting and anchoring.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with digital media and social media platforms.
