About the position

The Marketing Manager serves as the discipline leader for marketing at JW Marriott Chicago, Renaissance Austin, and Westin Houston Memorial City. This role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the hotels' goals and positioning, driving topline revenue, and managing all internal and external communications. The position requires collaboration with sales and revenue management teams to create effective marketing campaigns and maintain brand integrity across various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop overarching marketing strategy and budgets for supported hotels.
  • Participate in Sales Strategy Meetings to communicate marketing strategies.
  • Reconcile marketing plans monthly with financial forecasts.
  • Lead repositioning efforts in partnership with hotel executive teams.
  • Serve as brand guardian, ensuring all marketing reflects brand voice.
  • Collaborate with hotel operations to execute property-level programming.
  • Manage property email marketing and digital strategies across various platforms.
  • Analyze marketing reports and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee annual digital marketing plans and partnership strategies.
  • Manage OTA strategy in collaboration with Revenue Management.
  • Monitor SEO and provide recommendations for updates.
  • Set messaging strategy for hotel content management.
  • Cultivate partnerships and manage PR strategies for hotels.
  • Identify outlet marketing opportunities and define in-house programming.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies and manage budgets.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related major with 3 years of experience in Marketing, or
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related major with 1 year of experience in Marketing.
