About the position

As a Group Facility Administrator (GFA) at DaVita, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of multiple chronic hemodialysis facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing services and patient care across these sites. This includes managing financial aspects, maintaining quality assurance, ensuring patient safety, and addressing risk management issues. You will also focus on teammate satisfaction, quality index scores, and the overall maintenance of the facilities. The GFA will work closely with the Regional Operations Director to identify and resolve employee and patient concerns, aligning with regional goals and standards. In this leadership position, you will have full supervisory and management responsibilities for all teammates within the assigned facilities, which includes clinical staff and a small team of managers. Your duties will encompass hiring, managing teammate relations, overseeing performance and professional development, conducting annual reviews, implementing salary increases, and making termination decisions when necessary. Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall operations for nursing services and patient care at multiple chronic hemodialysis facilities.
  • Manage financial operations, quality assurance, patient safety, and risk management.
  • Ensure teammate satisfaction and maintain quality index scores.
  • Partner with the Regional Operations Director to address employee and patient concerns.
  • Supervise and manage all teammates within assigned facilities, including clinical staff and managers.
  • Handle hiring, teammate relations, performance management, and professional development.
  • Conduct annual reviews, implement salary increases, and manage terminations.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related area strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in management required; prior management in the healthcare field and experience with multi-site management are preferred.
  • RN license preferred (required for some locations).
  • Minimum of 6 months of ESRD/dialysis experience required; minimum of 2 years' experience in dialysis preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required (or certification obtained within 60 days of hire).
  • CNN certification preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required; functional proficiency in all DaVita facility computer systems required within 90 days.
