About the position

As a Hospital Services Administrator at DaVita, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the administration and coordination of services to licensed Acute and Sub-Acute Care Programs within the Hospital Services Group. This position is designed for an ambitious, operationally-focused, and results-driven leader who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. You will be the trusted front-line leader in an outpatient clinic setting, directly impacting patient care and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. In this role, you will lead a team of 30-40 direct reports, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), administrative assistants, and drivers. You will foster a positive work environment where team members appreciate and support each other. Your responsibilities will include managing the operations of multiple hospital contracts within a region, overseeing P&L, budgets, and leading programs to meet performance goals. You will also be expected to travel between multiple hospital locations, including facilities in Lancaster and Rancho Cucamonga, as well as regional offices in Riverside. DaVita is recognized as a clinical leader, with a high percentage of facilities meeting or exceeding CMS's standards in key performance programs. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration and coordination of services to licensed Acute and Sub-Acute Care Programs.
  • Lead a team of 30-40 direct reports, including RNs, PCTs, and administrative staff.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Travel between multiple hospital locations to manage operations effectively.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in a related area strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in management (healthcare, business, or military) or equivalent renal experience.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse if required by state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification required (or certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Capacity to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.

Nice-to-haves
