About the position
The Multi-Site Property Manager is responsible for overseeing residential properties in Los Angeles, CA, ensuring effective management and compliance with regulations. This role involves coordinating communication between on-site staff and corporate offices, training and supervising employees, and monitoring property operations to enhance performance and tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Establish and coordinate a communication system between on-site staff and the Corporate Office.
- Train, supervise, and terminate direct reports in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor and assist in improving property operations and occupancy status.
- Review and audit property administrative, accounting, and maintenance areas for compliance.
- Inspect properties to maintain high standards and evaluate maintenance effectiveness.
- Conduct periodic inspections of vacant apartments for market readiness.
- Prepare various reports related to property management and discuss with supervisors.
- Review and approve expenditures within specified guidelines.
- Negotiate and evaluate contracts, making recommendations as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of property management training programs.
- Attend industry and regulatory agency meetings as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a similar role.
- Overall experience of at least three (3) years in residential property management.
- Experience with Affordable and Conventional Residential Properties, LIHTC, and Section 8 Rental Housing Assistance.
