About The Position

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician I at Speedway LLC is responsible for the repair and replacement of various specialized equipment across 7-Eleven stores within a designated geographic area. This role involves responding to service calls initiated through work orders, performing maintenance tasks, and managing parts inventory. The technician will report directly to the Area Facilities Manager and is expected to demonstrate leadership and effective communication skills while ensuring the smooth operation of store equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant work experience in maintenance
• Valid Driver's License
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Time management skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in maintenance preferred

Responsibilities

• Responds to work orders for a wide variety of in-store equipment including HVAC, refrigeration, and hot/cold beverage equipment.
• Handles plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues as they arise.
• Orders and manages parts inventory for the service truck.
• Replaces 'plug and play' equipment as needed.
• Assists in training other level 1 technicians when required.
• Schedules and prioritizes daily duties and work assignments.
• Completes daily reports and paperwork to account for time and materials used.
• Observes and inspects equipment to determine servicing needs.
• Completes basic maintenance tasks on structures and other equipment.
• Reads and follows procedures in service manuals according to manufacturer guidelines.
