About the position
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician at Fath Properties is responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of maintenance issues within the Fairfield Pointe Apartments community. This role involves working on plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, ensuring that both occupied and make-ready residential units are well-maintained. The technician will also handle on-call duties and manage the maintenance shop, including purchasing and ordering supplies.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues in residential units.
- Perform on-call maintenance duties as required.
- Maintain a neat and orderly maintenance shop at the apartment community.
- Purchase and order necessary supplies for maintenance tasks.
- Assist in make-ready repairs for residential units.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of residential maintenance experience required.
- Electrical and plumbing experience required.
- HVAC certification preferred but not required.
- Leadership skills are a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
