The Multi-Skilled Technician in the Trauma Progressive Care Unit is a vital healthcare role that combines patient care with administrative support. The technician will work night shifts and is expected to be proficient in various medical procedures and patient assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Trauma Progressive Care Unit.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

• Valid RN License or equivalent certification (CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or military corpsman).
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to assess and communicate effectively with patients.
• Experience working with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with commonly used computer applications.
