About the position

As a General Manager at Victra, you will be responsible for shaping the guest experience and leading a team to exceed sales targets while maintaining operational excellence. This role involves coaching and developing your team, particularly the Assistant General Manager, to ensure high performance in a fast-paced retail environment. You will oversee all store functions, drive sales strategies, and ensure a positive customer and employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the guest experience by coaching your team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Exceed sales targets while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Develop and mentor the Assistant General Manager in leadership skills.
  • Drive high-performance results in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Attract and retain top talent for the store team.
  • Provide ongoing sales training and support to exceed sales and service objectives.
  • Engage in sales strategy development to effectively showcase products and services.
  • Ensure store employees meet defined success measurements and complete training on time.
  • Maintain retail inventory compliance and oversee business operations including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Innovate ways to drive traffic to the store and capitalize on the existing customer base.
  • Own store success and manage all aspects of store operations including staffing, scheduling, and loss prevention.
  • Handle guest escalations and provide timely resolutions.
  • Communicate company objectives and priorities to team members.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a multifaceted environment.
  • Set goals, evaluate performance, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One or more years of customer service experience, preferably in retail or sales.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak vacation periods.
  • At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
