About the position

The Leasing Consultant at Countryside Village Apartments is responsible for attracting and retaining residents in a multifamily community. This role requires excellent customer service, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The consultant will greet visitors, market the property, and ensure high occupancy rates by converting inquiries into leases. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and a monthly bonus based on performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Implement marketing strategies to effectively present the property.
• Respond to telephone and email inquiries to generate prospective resident visits.
• Show and demonstrate apartments and property amenities to close prospects.
• Follow up with prospective residents to maintain engagement.
• Conduct weekly market surveys as requested by management.
• Obtain lease information and complete lease applications.
• Conduct required credit, criminal, and housing/employment reference checks.
• Perform move-in inspections and review lease agreements with new residents.
• Prepare and process resident service requests and facilitate resolutions to complaints.
• Assist in planning community activities and events.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of leasing experience in multi-family properties or customer service.
• General computer skills are required.
• RealPage OneSite experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is preferred.
