About the position

The Leasing Consultant at Countryside Village Apartments is responsible for attracting and retaining residents in a multifamily community. This role requires excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The consultant will greet visitors, respond to inquiries, conduct property tours, and assist with lease administration, all while ensuring high resident satisfaction and occupancy rates.

Responsibilities

• Implement marketing strategies to effectively present the property and attract prospective residents.
• Respond to telephone and email inquiries to generate visits to the property.
• Show and demonstrate apartments and property amenities to close prospects.
• Follow up with prospective residents to maintain engagement.
• Conduct weekly market surveys as requested by management.
• Obtain lease information and complete lease applications, including necessary background checks.
• Perform move-in inspections and review lease agreements with new residents.
• Prepare and process resident service requests and facilitate resolutions to resident complaints.
• Assist in planning community activities and events, and prepare promotional materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of leasing experience in multifamily properties or customer service.
• General computer skills required, with RealPage OneSite experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in property management is preferred.
• Driver's License is preferred.
