About the position

The Multifamily Construction Project Manager at Reliable Ducts Heating & Cooling is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects for residential buildings with multiple units, such as apartment complexes or condominiums. This role involves managing project budgets, timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while leading a team of professionals in the construction process.

Responsibilities

  • Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure all phases of construction are completed on time.
  • Creating and managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring the project stays within financial constraints.
  • Leading and coordinating the efforts of architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Ensuring that construction work meets all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Maintaining clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Addressing and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
  • Overseeing daily operations on the construction site, including supervising workers and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to clients and senior management.

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience as a Project Manager preferably in a Multifamily Construction (HVAC)
  • Ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects from start to finish.
  • Leading and motivating teams, including contractors, architects, and engineers.
  • Efficiently managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Keeping projects within budget and managing financial resources.
  • Quickly addressing and resolving issues that arise during construction.
  • Understanding construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite, Excel, and Service Titan.
