About the position
We are seeking a skilled Multifamily Property Analyst to join our team. This role involves underwriting multifamily properties and building strong relationships with brokers to identify investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial analysis, real estate markets, and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Analyze income, expenses, rent rolls, market trends, and other financial metrics to evaluate potential investments.
- Analyze market data, sales comps, and rent comps to determine property value.
- Create detailed financial models using Excel and multifamily underwriting.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on property performance and investment potential.
- Liaise with brokers to gather information on new deals, negotiate terms, and maintain ongoing communication.
- Identify acquisition opportunities through market research and outreach to brokers.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with multifamily real estate markets, particularly in Florida.
- Proven experience in networking and relationship-building within the multifamily market.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster relationships with brokers and present findings to stakeholders.
- Ideally 2-5 years in real estate analysis or underwriting multifamily deals.
