About the position

The Multifamily Purchasing Manager will oversee and manage procurement activities for the Multifamily division at Reliable Ducts Heating & Cooling. This role involves managing the entire process of acquiring goods and services, ensuring optimal value for the company while maintaining quality standards. The position emphasizes strategic supplier relationships and effective communication within the team and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Purchasing Decisions for all products, equipment and supplies in a Multifamily Setting
• Create and implement strategies that align with the Multifamily division goals, focusing on cost, quality, and supplier relationships.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing relationships to ensure the best value for the organization.
• Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and changes in supply and demand to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Manage procurement budgets, tracking expenses, and cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
• Clear and effective communication with suppliers, team members, and other departments.
• Ability to quickly address and resolve issues that arise in the procurement process.

Requirements

• 5 + years' experience working in finance, logistics, supply chain management or a related field
• 3 years of Purchasing Experience preferably in Multifamily
• High level of accountability
• Knowledgeable of HVAC Equipment
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Detail Oriented
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Forklift Certified
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook and Service Titan a Plus!
• Must be able to pass a background check, and drug tests prior to and throughout employment.
