About the position

The Multimedia Brand Content Writer is responsible for developing engaging, brand-oriented written content for both print and digital media aimed at various internal and external audiences. This role involves creating and executing marketing initiatives for the Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic, focusing on enhancing online presence and improving marketing and branding efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media and marketing strategies for the Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic.
• Create and execute all marketing initiatives focusing on patient acquisition, student success, and donor stewardship.
• Manage and oversee social media content, campaigns, and trends.
• Analyze key performance indicators to measure the success of campaigns.
• Collaborate with designers and copywriters to ensure content is informative and appealing.
• Monitor SEO and user engagement, suggesting content optimization as needed.
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers to build a strong network.
• Adhere to all Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in creative writing, public relations, advertising, marketing, or a related field.
• Two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling six years.

Nice-to-haves

• 2-3 years of experience as a social media or marketing specialist or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Experience with audience and buyer persona research.
• Good understanding of social media KPIs.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proven experience creating branded content.
