About the position

The Multimedia Brand Content Writer at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center - El Paso is responsible for creating engaging, brand-oriented written content for both print and digital media. This role focuses on enhancing the online presence and marketing efforts of the Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic, working closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing and Creative Services. The position requires a self-directed individual who can develop and implement social media strategies, manage content, and analyze campaign performance to ensure success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media and marketing strategies for the Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic.
  • Create and execute marketing initiatives focusing on patient acquisition, student success, and donor stewardship.
  • Manage and oversee social media content and campaigns, tracking trends and performance.
  • Develop solution-driven ideas to ensure campaign success and analyze key performance indicators.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement, suggesting content optimization.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers to build a strong network.
  • Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies and demonstrate the institution's values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in creative writing, public relations, advertising, marketing, or a related field.
  • Two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling six years.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Experience with audience and buyer persona research.
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proven experience creating branded content.
