About the position

The Multimedia Instructional Developer collaborates with Instructional Systems Designers and senior developers to create and maintain technical training materials for both classroom and online delivery. This role involves developing web-based lessons and providing various graphics and media for instructor-led courses, utilizing tools like Storyline 360.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain technical training materials for classroom and online delivery.
  • Create custom graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Optimize graphics for various delivery methods and edit video content.
  • Develop web-based lessons using Storyline 360.
  • Utilize development methodologies and tools such as InDesign, After Effects, Animate, PowerPoint, 3D Studio Max, Premiere Pro, and Captivate.
  • Edit HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize actions within Storyline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience or a Master's degree with one year of experience; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience creating custom graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of illustration and video editing.
  • Five years of experience with development methodologies and tools such as InDesign, After Effects, Animate, PowerPoint, 3D Studio Max, Premiere Pro, Captivate, or equivalent.
  • Experience editing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Nice-to-haves

  • A related degree is desired but not required.
  • Experience with additional multimedia development tools.
