About the position

The Multimedia Instructional Developer at SAIC is responsible for developing and maintaining technical training materials for both classroom and online delivery. This role involves collaborating with Instructional Systems Designers and senior developers to create engaging multimedia content, including graphics and web-based lessons, primarily using tools like Storyline 360.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical training materials for classroom and online delivery.
• Collaborate with Instructional Systems Designers and senior developers.
• Create custom graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Optimize graphics for various delivery methods and edit video content.
• Develop web-based lessons using Storyline 360.
• Edit HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize actions within Storyline.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience or a Master's degree with one year of experience.
• Experience creating custom graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of illustration and video editing.
• Five years of experience with development methodologies and tools such as InDesign, After Effects, Animate, PowerPoint, 3D Studio Max, Premiere Pro, and Captivate.
• Ability to edit HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Adobe Captivate and Storyline 360.
• Familiarity with learning management systems.
