About the position

KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a Multi-Media Journalist (MMJ) responsible for reporting, shooting, and editing news stories. The role involves generating story ideas, developing contacts, and producing content across various platforms, including television, the internet, and social media.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot, and edit news stories.
• Enterprise story ideas and develop contacts.
• Produce daily content for television, internet, and social media platforms.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years reporting experience is required.
• Experience with live shots is required.
• Sharp news judgment and the ability to tell an NPPA style story.
• Excellent technical skills.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Live-U is a plus.
