About the position

The Multi-Media Journalist (MMJ) at WRGB/WCWN is responsible for reporting, shooting, and editing news stories, as well as developing story ideas and contacts. This role requires producing daily content across various platforms, including television, the internet, and social media, ensuring a dynamic and engaging news presence.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot, and edit news stories.
• Develop and pitch story ideas.
• Build and maintain contacts for news stories.
• Produce daily content for television and online platforms.
• Utilize social networking sites and mobile phones for news dissemination.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years reporting experience.
• Experience with live shots is required.
• Excellent technical skills in multimedia journalism.
• Sharp news judgment and storytelling ability.
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Live-U is a plus.
