KHQA is seeking a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) to join our dynamic news team in Quincy, Illinois. As an MMJ, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality news content across various platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include reporting, shooting, and editing news stories, as well as generating original story ideas and developing contacts within the community. You will be expected to produce daily content that engages our audience on television, the internet, social networking sites, and mobile devices. This position requires a proactive approach to news gathering and storytelling, ensuring that our coverage is timely, relevant, and impactful. In this role, you will be responsible for not only creating compelling news stories but also for maintaining a strong presence in the community.
