About the position

The Multi-Media Journalist (MMJ) at KTUL is responsible for reporting, shooting, and editing news stories. This role involves generating story ideas, developing contacts, and producing content across various platforms, including television, the internet, and social media. The MMJ is expected to demonstrate sharp news judgment and excellent technical skills while working independently.

Responsibilities

• Reporting, shooting, and editing news stories

• Completing other assigned responsibilities

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year reporting experience
• Experience with live shots
• Excellent technical skills
• Sharp news judgment
• Ability to work well independently
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
