About the position

The Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) at WTOV is responsible for reporting, shooting, and editing news stories, as well as developing story ideas and contacts. The role requires producing daily content across various platforms, including television, the internet, and social media.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot, and edit news stories.
• Enterprise story ideas and develop contacts.
• Produce daily content for multiple platforms including television, internet, and social media.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Sharp news judgment.
• Ability to tell an NPPA style story.
• Excellent technical skills.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with live shots is preferred.
• Experience with Live-U is a plus.
