KNBN Newscenter 1 is seeking a Multimedia Journalist/Reporter/Producer to join their team in Rapid City, SD. This role involves writing stories, conducting interviews, shooting and editing video, and live reporting on various topics including breaking news and sports. The position also includes acting as a fill-in anchor for news and sports segments, contributing to the station's commitment to quality journalism.

Responsibilities

• Write stories and conduct interviews on assigned topics.
• Shoot and edit video and edit stories for newscasts.
• Live reporting, as well as reporting on breaking news and sports stories as they happen.
• Act as a fill-in anchor for both news and sports.
• Maintain prompt and reliable attendance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Exceptional written, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that is insurable by the company.
• Must carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company.
