About The Position

WTVY News4 is seeking an ambitious Multimedia Journalist to join its leading news team in the Wiregrass region. The role focuses on developing news stories, covering breaking news, and producing content for both broadcast and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate with a passion for journalism and a commitment to excellence in reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field
• MMJ and/or anchoring reel
• 3 References

Responsibilities

• Develop sources and contacts from your assigned topic/beat
• Contribute to editorial meetings, including story pitches and feedback for others
• Produce daily content and special projects for broadcast and digital platforms
• Provide compelling live elements for broadcast and digital platforms
