About the position

The Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) at KFDM is responsible for reporting, shooting, and editing news stories. This role involves generating story ideas, developing contacts, and producing content across various platforms, including television, the internet, and social media. The MMJ will be expected to deliver daily content and work independently while maintaining high journalistic standards.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot, and edit news stories.
• Generate and develop story ideas.
• Establish and maintain contacts for news stories.
• Produce daily content for television, internet, and social media platforms.
• Work independently to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Reporting experience at some level is required.
• Experience with live shots is required.
• Excellent technical skills in multimedia production.
• Sharp news judgment and storytelling ability.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Live-U is a plus.
