About the position

The Multi-Media Journalist (MMJ) at KOKH is responsible for reporting, shooting, and editing news stories, as well as developing story ideas and contacts. The role requires producing daily content across various platforms, including television, the internet, and social media.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot, and edit news stories.
• Enterprise story ideas and develop contacts.
• Produce daily content for television, internet, and social media platforms.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year reporting experience is required.
• Experience with live shots is required.
• Excellent technical skills are necessary.
• Sharp news judgment is essential.
• Ability to work well independently is required.
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Live-U is a plus.
